Explore the Tate Modern collections with the guidance of a Tate expert on one of their Discovery Tours. Expect to be inspired and informed on this one hour tour of the main collections at Tate Modern. Encompassing the most famous works of art, this tour ensures you will explore the ‘must see’ artists and displays at the iconic London Gallery. You can cancel or make changes up to 24 hours before the tour date.
There are twelve parking spaces for disabled visitors, accessed via Park Street. Please book these spaces at least 24 hours in advance.
Entrance is via the Turbine Hall or via the Blavatnik Building from Park Street.
To borrow a wheelchair or walker you can either book in advance or ask a member of staff on arrival (subject to availability). Reservation is free. To borrow a mobility scooter please book at least 24 hours in advance of visiting. Reservation is free but you must have driven a mobility scooter before. Email ticketing@tate.org.uk
Fully accessible toilets are located on every floor on the concourses.
We welcome guide dogs, hearing dogs and assistance dogs in the gallery. Drinking bowls are available at the Turbine Hall entrance – just ask a member of staff.
There are four lifts in the Natalie Bell Building, by the main stairs on each floor. You can reach the lifts from the Turbine Hall. These lifts are being prioritised for people who are not able to use the stairs or escalators There are eight lifts in the Blavatnik Building, situated by the main stairs on each floor Two RADAR Key operated lifts link the South Entrance on Level 1 and the Ticket desks in the Turbine Hall on Level 0. RADAR keys are available from staff at the South Entrance on Level 1, and from the cloakroom and ticket desks on Level 0
Bags and items larger than cabin bag size (55cm x 40cm x 20cm) are not permitted in the building. Potentially dangerous objects are also not permitted. There is a left luggage facility at Victoria station.
